He is crawling all over the place. We are having to chase him around heh. I hope once this x-pac comes out I can raid with the guild twice a week. Looks like weekday raiding is going to be out of the question though due to classes. (Friday-Sunday nights only)

Its a bit tough to watch a baby crawling around and raid at the same time =P

Looking forward tot he new x-pac though a lot. Hopefully we can get a lot of new recruits!

We just about have a core 10 formed, and already things are taking shape. As we continue to recruit positions for that core and to move back into 25 man content, we can already see great things to come from our new raiders. This week we managed to complete the 4.3 dungeons in a guild group, with quite a few achievements collected along the way. We picked up running Firelands to assist with gear, and we'll probably be hitting older content for the fun of it. We even managed Ambi Turner last night with two tanks that weren't experienced in Firelands. That's talent and skill Way to go team!!

Since we've cleared Bastion of Twilight, it was time to start getting our feet wet. We decided to begin with the most basic of raid achievements:

Time Warden and Nether Scion went down very smoothly and it was a clean kill, even for a new folks.

It's been a fine week for us~ as we've been taking out some new bosses. Sometimes things just click. Cho'gall's dead and Bastion of Twilight is clear. After a repeat performance, we'll begin heroic modes in this raid instance. Nefarion and Al'Akir are next on the agenda.

We've also hit Guild Level 20- and unlocked Happy Hour - so that's definitely going to make our flasks go further! All in a all, a great raid week!

Earth, Wind, and Fire: Let's Groove!

We were getting funky Thursday night with the Ascendant Council. After a bit of work, we were able to groove to our our beat, leaving the Elementium Monstrosity on the floor in dust! Great work folks for really jamming to the beat!

Aside from that, we've been really busy, myself included. Time to catch up on some news!

A few folks took some initiative and knocked out the BC Dungeons! Great Job folks!

We hit level 14, and sailed into 15, and 16 will hit today!

Blizzard finally fixed the Everyone Needs a Logo Achievement!

On Super Bowl Sunday, we did AQ 40 and hit up Ulduar for shards!

Another raid night, and another new encounter conquered! It's been a great week so far, and it's not over. The winds of change made short of the djinni lords in the Throne of Four Winds. This is our second new boss this week, and this means we've earned free repairs for all of next week! Woohoo!

Time is Running Out!

Despite the (deliberate?) changes in the 25 man enrage timer, Maloriak is dead. Time finally ran out for him, instead of us! Damn fine job raid!

Not only was this accomplished, but we also hit level 13 today! Awesome teamwork guys and gals!

Xerati led another group on Saturday for some Off Night fun- acquiring a few new guild achievements:

Things are coming together, and while we still have a hole or two to fill in our raid core, we're making some solid progress. While we thought we had double vision in Twilight of Bastion, we were wrong. When the fog cleared, we were collecting our loot.

I've been really slacking on posting news lately. We've gained a couple more guild levels, bring on the guild perks!

The off nights have been busy. Xerati has been organizing some 10 mans to knock out achievements. This last weekend, 10 folks got their Bane titles and a few even got their drakes! Awesome job folks!

What You Can Expect From Us
A great sense of community, together feeling the thrill of downing a new boss, the upset of wiping, and the fun and laughter shared along side your fellow guild mates. We want you to feel apart of the great bond of friendship, even feel like we're a crazy, dysfunctional family. Now we know that everyone can't possibly get along with each other, but we will do our best for us to be happy with each other.

We are blunt and to the point. We try our best not to directly call out mistakes- but we will point out a mistake that others can learn from in a raid address without naming who actually did it. If you are having problems with performance, expect us to talk about it privately. Our guild is only as strong as our weakest link.

What We Expect From You
We are looking for players that are passionate about the game. That means don't join us looking for that last reason not to quit. We love players that like to theory craft and read up on their class and current content. People that are not easily discouraged. Raid members should approach the last attempt of the night with the same focus as they do to the first. Maybe even more focus as our "Last Attempt" is sometimes the last pot shot we needed. Lastly, LEARN from your mistakes, and the mistakes of others.

Finally, when you're new to the guild, take it easy your first week. Don't rock the boat with a typhoon. Get to know people, then add your own chemistry to our melting pot. Most importantly, don't come into our guild giving us strats about how your old guild used to do things. It's annoying. We don't want to hear it. You left your old guild, embrace your new one. Pretend we're your new girlfriend, clearly you dumped your old one so stop talking about how much you miss her.

Make your application worth reading. This guild is worth your time, make sure we know you're worth ours.

Respect
We expect all of our members to show respect to other players in guild and outside of the guild. Furthermore, respect our leadership, they don't get paid to do this, they do it for fun. The more work you make for us, the less we're going to like you.

Optimizing
We expect you to optimize your spec, gear, and consumables for the highest possible output. This should be a given. Read Elitistjerks, MMO-Champ, WOW Forums, and utilize Spreadsheets. If someone comes to you and suggests a change, I suggest you take the time to consider it.

Guild Requirements for Raiders
Average item level: 348+ (Gear from heroics and a combination of epics)
Cataclysm faction helm enchant
Therazane Exalted shoulder enchants
Blue quality gems for your raiding class and spec
Relevant enchants for your raiding class and spec
Knowledge of your class to maximize both DPS and/or healing
Ability to be present for all raid times
Amazing awareness of surroundings

We took down the Omnitron Defense System on Sunday. It was a beautiful kill! This also allow us a touch of face time on Maloriak. I'm sure he'll be joining our news section shortly.

We've also been pretty busy outside of this; The guild hit level 10 right on schedule- and we gained chug-a-lug, not to mention those sweet BOA cloaks!

On our offnights, we've been having some fun with WotLK content. Xerati has been leading a 10 man into ICC and collecting drakes. He's got more posts up, folks- so if you want your drake and Bane title, get signed up.

Just Got Paid!

I've been neglecting updating the news section this last week - and there's actually quite a bunch of news. First, we hit Guild Level 8 right on schedule and we should pop into Guild Level 9 today.

We were provided the opportunity to step into Baradin Hold, defeating Argaloth on 25 man, although all we saw for loot was PvP gear.

We also completed several guild achievements this last week, and unlocked a few new rewards.

This one was our optional NYE raid:

And this last one was a crazy good time in the IF Tram.

The most important guild achievement we knocked out was this one:

Now we have our new and improved fish feasts! Great job and guild effort folks! Keep it up!

One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer..

Our Cataclysm raiding has officially kicked off! Send me one bourbon, one scotch, and one beer! Magmaw is dead.. and yes, we're the only guild on server to do it on 25 man. This is a 25 man guild, and we haven't compromised anything on that level. Damn good job folks!

We even got the achievement!

We also hit guild level 7 on Christmas Day! It was a great present to us!!

We are moving right along- hitting level 6 on schedule. Complete with that- we finally got one of our warriors to honored in guild and the Class Act achievement.

As a guild, we completed Cataclysm Dungeon Hero! Our gear levels are getting there and we're getting used to the massive changes that Blizzard has unleashed on us! For now, all I can say is walk this way!
